Printer is a 20 year old 15.1hh Appy QH mare. For the majority of her
life, she was my trusted competitive partner in the hunter, jumper, and
eventing arenas. For the past five years, she has assisted numerous
little girls in their quests to become competitive riders. Today, Printer is
looking to enter the next phase of her life.
Ligament damage in her left hind has left Printer too sore to continue
working as she has. She maintains great energy and a will to please,
and would like to continue bringing joy to her riders’ lives. Printer is
looking for a partner for long walks… whether along the beach, trail, or
other. She is bombproof, balanced, and fun, and gets along well with
other horses. She is a fabulous personality to have within any barn and
would make a great companion horse, but she would love to have a
companion rider, as well.
Her extensive training makes her a very enjoyable ride, even at the
walk, and I can honestly say I still have a smile on my face every time I
sit on her back – even after 16 years together. She’s the type of horse
who knickers when she hears you enter the barn, and waits for you to
come back.
I am looking to find a new riding partner for Printer in a long-term free
lease situation. She is currently situated in Richmond, but is looking to
move to an approved barn within the Lower Mainland that offers good
care and food, and the opportunity for fun walks.
As you can tell, this little mare means the world to me. I’m looking for
someone who wants to share in the next phase of her wonderful life.
